Models for Thunderbirds Are Go (animated)
Vehicles I made for the Thunderbirds animated series.
I was asked to build a few very quick vehicles for the animated Thunderbird series.
When I say quick, I mean for budgetary reasons. I had to set a couple of days to do each vehicle and craft.
This truck was completely kit bashed from left over stuff around the workshop and lots of model kits so was an easy couple of days.
This was a one off build.
The GDF vehicle was a simple wood shape, then covered in kit parts.
It made sense to just mould it and produce several versions for minimal cost.
These ended up being used a lot.
The aircraft was all carved out of wood then moulded to produce several versions.
The design was from a description the production gave me and I just ran with it.
The names were based on classic Thunderbirds aircraft names.
